
Zheng Lei

Zheng Lei is the Director of the Lab for Digital and Mobile Governance and Professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University, China. He received his PhD degree in Public Administration and Policy from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, State University of New York in 2009. His research interests include digital governance, open government data and mobile public services.
He serves on the editorial boards of journals including Government Information Quarterly, China Public Administration Review, and E-Government of China. He is a co-chair of the Digital Government Society China Chapter, a member of the Expert Group on UN e-Government survey and a member of the Global Future Council on Data Equity at the World Economic Forum. His research works have received Award for Outstanding Achievement in Higher Education Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education of China and First Prize for Decision-making Consulting Research Achievement from the Municipal Government of Shanghai.
