Marcus Welby Rance is currently employed as Lead Analyst in Digital transformation at Quantum Leap Consulting. He has been playing a pivotal role in the Digital Transformation Implementation initiatives within the Western Cape Government since 2021. Marcus holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Fort Hare, a post graduate degree from the University of Pretoria in Information Sciences with specialisation in Information society, knowledge management and business analysis. Driven by a passion for public service especially using technology, design thinking and innovation to improve service delivery for disadvantaged people and communities. Previously, Marcus worked with the e-Government for Citizens team on a Digital Service Experience Strategy as well as the Organisation Design team on Business Process Optimisation projects.
