Currently Acting DDG: ICT International Affairs and Trade in DCDT. He is responsible for setting up the PC4IR and Establishing the AI Institute. He career spans across many disciplines such as naval military officer in SANDF, Parliament, Foreign Affairs amongst others. He is responsible for aspects related to G20, BRICS, ITU amongst others. He is also dealing with ICT Forecast and Modelling as well as ICT indicators.
