Eva Scholtes is an accomplished professional with a passion for technology and communications. Currently serving as an advisor for the Data Governance in Africa Initiative at GIZ, Eva is contributing to various capacity building activities for policy and decision makers on digital topics. She brings notable skills in project management, public policy, e-learning, and a deep understanding of digital transformation. Prior to working in the field of international collaboration, Eva spent over five years at Deutsche Telekom, assuming various roles including Network Management and Corporate Communications as well as Sales Strategy and Product Management in national and international telecommunication networks.

Eva holds a Master's degree in International Business from Aachen University of Applied Sciences and Mittuniversitetet Sweden. With a BSI IT Grundschutz certification, Eva is well-equipped in the fields of information security and establishment and improvement of an information security management system.
