Kim is an international development professional with more than five years of experience working in African countries, including Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon and Togo. She is passionate about advising partners on topics including digital governance and policies, data and statistics, and artificial intelligence. Since 2019, she has been leading the work of the FAIR Forward – Artificial Intelligence for all initiative of German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in Rwanda. The goal of the initiative is to democratize AI and to foster local innovation in developing countries by open sourcing AI.
