Yossra Kallali

Yossra serves as a Senior Advocacy Officer at Niyel, a private impact-driven campaign, advocacy, and public affairs firm, where she oversees the Initiative for AI Development (IDIA) project and manages data-centric projects. Her expertise lies in African Union law and policy, underpinned by her extensive experience with parliamentary processes and policy developments in Africa, gained through her work experience at the Tunisian Parliament and the African Union Commission.

She also led several regional initiatives aimed at advancing women, youth rights, and social inclusion across Africa. She has also played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of significant African Union policies, collaborating with member states and partners such as GIZ. Additionally, Yossra has published numerous research papers, including in collaboration with the Young Policy Network on Migration and other esteemed organizations. Yossra's comprehensive experience in policy advocacy, coupled with her technical knowledge in advocacy in AI and data policies, positions her as a leading expert in her field as she is a passionate Pan-Africanist who is dedicated to achieving the Africa we want.
